THE STANCE

Elected officials who align with No Toxic Money do not take campaign contributions or gifts from Duke Energy, Dominion Energy, Enbridge, or their affiliates, including from their Political Action Committees (PAC), lobbyists, and executives.

HOW TO TAKE THE STANCE AS A CANDIDATE OR INCUMBENT OFFICIAL: 4 EASY STEPS

  1. Fill out this form to notify us that you intend to take a stand.
  2. We will reach out to you about composing a statement together on why you have taken such a stand, including identifying constituents who may share stories on why they support your stand.
  3. Together, we will post photos, videos, or graphics on our social media accounts and our websites with the hashtag #NoToxicMoneyNC to let North Carolina voters know where you stand.

We’re publicizing all of the politicians who take a stand on our website, https://notoxicmoney.org/, as well as our social media on BlueSky (@utilityfairnessnow.bsky.social) and Instagram (@utilityfairnessnow) with the hashtag #NoToxicMoneyNC.
